RefectoCil: Professional Brow & Lash Tinting Since 1930

RefectoCil traces back to 1930, when Viennese hairdresser Josef Gschwentner began developing his own professional dye out of dissatisfaction with what was available on the market. He officially launched RefectoCil as a dedicated brow and lash tint in 1950, and the brand is still made in Leopoldsdorf, Austria — now sold in more than 70 countries.

Choosing your tint

The core Brow & Lash Dye range covers standard shades, while Intense Brow[n]s is a hybrid tint line paired with its own Activator Gel and Primer for a stronger, longer-lasting stain. Both use a 3% oxidant, available as cream or liquid depending on your preferred consistency.
